Easter Time

So we're considering this blog to be my 1st how to card...ekkk.😬😬😬 so here goes.

I'm getting some easter cards ready for my aunt to have choices to pick from as well as stocking my shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/LilSomethingFromMEand my 1st craft show of the year.

So lets start off with with how to make this spring card.

These are the colors I used to color the bunny. Just some light shadowing around the bunny with C1 copic markers. And for the bunny's nose and ears I used R20, RV21 and RV10.

For my little chicks beak, I used YR20 on the edge and repeated with YR15.

I have really enjoyed learing from Alyce at https://www.kitandclowder.com/ I highly recommend trying a course or two. She truly is the sweetest.

I was so thrilled my chick came out this way. I used Y11 for the whole chick followed by shadowing with Y21 and Y13.
And coming back over to smooth out and give those higlights needed with Y11.

Am I the only one who has a love hate relationship with fussy cutting? Once I did all my coloring it was time to fussy cut.

Pre coloring, I punched out two different color greens for my grass using fiskar punch. I also used my embossing folder of clouds from darcie and used my die cut from Craftin Divas to cut out my clouds which seemed to match the folder perfectly!

I popped up the bunny and chick along with the clouds. It had been missing something so I fussy cut some flowers last minute.

I stamped out my sentiment from my doodlebug easter set and used my square stitched die from sweet stamp shop and placed it on for this fun and light Spring/Easter card.

I hope you enjoyed.
